Emerging Talent Programme 2025

Bowdon Hockey Club’s Emerging Talent Programme (ETP) returns this May for its third edition, offering a high performance training experience for all emerging and aspiring hockey players.

Designed for players looking to sharpen their technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall game intelligence, this 8-week programme provides a pathway for player development in a challenging and supportive environment.

Led by Bowdon’s coaching team, ETP combines on-pitch sessions, video analysis, and positional-specific training, ensuring players gain the tools needed to excel at club, school, and representative levels.

With a focus on game understanding, decision-making, and highly skilled actions, participants will experience a quality training approach that pushes them to develop.

Key Features:

✅ 8 high quality training sessions delivered by top level coaches
✅ Position specific coaching to refine individual strengths
✅ Regular gameplay learning for improved decision-making under pressure
✅ Plenty of Feedback to accelerate player growth
✅ Competitive training environment with like-minded, ambitious players

This programme is split into two.

Emerging - Years 7-9 (Will consider some year 6s on a case by case basis)
Aspiring - Years 10+

On the booking form, please select what group you think you should be in, we will email out and confirm groups prior to the sessions.

📅 Start Date: Week Commencing 5th May 2025
Boys - Monday
Girls - Wednesday

⌚️ Emerging: 18:00 - 19:30, Aspiring 19:30 - 21:00, GK & Short Corner Clinic 18:30 - 20:00
📍 Location: Bowdon Hockey Club, Wet Pitch

£180 (Non members)

Gum shields & Shin pads are compulsory.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no hockey on the 26/28th May.
